The artist in English chapter 6

“The Artist" is a short story in which Shiga Naoya has shown that how a child's talent is killed, how a child is unable to master his art because his parents and his teachers do not recognize his art.

Sebei was a 12 years old Japanese boy.
He was Passionately interested in gourd
He lives in a harbour town.
He was still at primary school.
His father worked in a carpenter’s shop.
His hobby was collecting gourds .
In ten sens Seibei bought that special gourd from the old lady since then he didn’t keep that gourd away.
Ethics teacher caught Seibei in the Classroom while he was polishing the gourd.
Nanniwabushi is a type of music in Japan.
The teacher caught and scold seibei and also complained his mother about about him.
He is now engrossed in his pictures.
